HISTORY
Living in VS Vredeoord means living while being surrounded by rich history. Philips has meant a lot to the city, and Vredeoord was used for a long time as a business campus. The name “VS” stands for the time it was used as an office building. The “V” stands for Vredeoord, the area and the “S” for the alphabetical order in which the building was realized within the Philips business campus.
Today, Vredeoord is a lively residential area. The green carpet in Vredeoord connects the neighbourhood with the Philips de Jongh Wandelpark and other areas.
